More Action Opportunities

"Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding." -Romans 14:19

The Plumb Line Ministry

Since 1990 volunteers have been working out of a cathedral office to help people who are facing eviction from their homes or who are in need of a gift from our food pantry. Fifteen social service agencies refer people to the Plumb Line. We serve more than 300 people a year.

Peaselee Neighborhood Center

To advance literacy among children, the Peaslee Neighborhood Center is starting a new volunteer program in its child development center. The aim of the program is to familiarize pre-school students with books. Volunteer readers are needed. You may also help by donating new or gently used picture and early reader books for the program. (Leave your donation at the church reception desk.) Kelli Bell is spearheading an effort at the cathedral to support this program. Contact Kelli for more information.
