The Rev. Canon John Johanssen is serving as the cathedral's priest-in-charge while Dean James Diamond is on medical leave, recovering from illness.

Because we are a cathedral, our presiding priest carries the title of dean. The priests who report to the dean are usually called canons. Along with Dean James Diamond, we have three full time priests and two part time priests on staff.

The Rev. Canon Nancy Turner Jones is the Dean's Canon. She oversees programming, the integration of newcomers into the life of the cathedral and stewardship. Her position is a two-year appointment.

The Rev. Canon Joanna Leiserson is the canon for Christian formation. She oversees the children's Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program, the youth programs and the adult education and discussion programs.

The Rev. Canon Myrick Rick Cross is the canon pastor. He tends to our congregations pastoral needs.
