Kick-off Potluck Luncheon: Sunday, January 11, 2015, 11:30 a.m.
Foyer Groups are small groups of members and friends of the cathedral congregation who meet regularly through the year. They are a wonderful way to become better acquainted. Each group has 8 to 10 adults.
Meetings are usually monthly, but can be at other times as a group decides. Groups generally meet for a meal, either provided by the host or a potluck. Some groups like to build their get-togethers around discussion topics; others are purely social. Some attend events or do activities together. It is up to each group to decide.
A Foyer Group meeting lasts about two hours. It is held in a public space if not at the home of one of the members. Members report finding their time together enlightening and enriching, as they establish new friendships and deepen old ones.
Any adult is welcome to join a Foyer Group. Being able to host a meeting at one's home is not a requirement for joining.
Groups for 2015 will be organized at a kick-off potluck luncheon on Sunday, January 11, at 11:30 a.m. in the undercroft. (Sandwiches will be provided.)
